Role and responsibilities
- Primary institutional contact for student well-being and welfare concerns.
- Receive, assess and appropriately route student concerns requiring welfare or crisis support.
- Coordinate with counsellors, faculty mentors, medical personnel and student-support cells.
- Activate institutional emergency / crisis-response procedures when required.
- Maintain confidentiality and secure records subject to applicable law and safeguarding requirements.
- Organise awareness, orientation and preventive-support activities.
